Festival of Learning – Keynote von Sarah Cruddas

For the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, we would like to present this year's festival theme as "Space & New Frontiers." The questions we are bringing to the forefront are: how can we integrate the same level of curiosity and thirst for knowledge that brought us to the moon fifty years ago into our educational system? What role will extracurricular places, such as libraries and MakerSpaces, play in actively shaping our future? And how can we use new information technologies to develop creative learning approaches to enable lifelong and continuous learning?

Sarah Cruddas is the director of Space for Humanity, a U.S. nonprofit space democratization organization headquartered in Denver, Colorado. Sarah Cruddas is a space journalist, radio and television announcer, who lives in London and the USA, she works for BBC, SKY NEWS, Channel 5 News and ITV, among others. Her third children's book, The Space Race, was launched into space on 20 April 2019.
