Kurt Flasch

As every year, the emeritus philosophy professor and scholar Kurt Flasch traditionally closes the International Science Festival - Geist Heidelberg on its anniversary.

Die Welt once described him as "Germany's most brilliant historian of philosophy", the Süddeutsche Zeitung as "Germany's most urbane philosophical writer". Kurt Flasch is regarded as one of the last German philosophers with interdisciplinary appeal.

Kurt Flasch inspires his audience with spirit and originality, with wit and passion. His topics range from the history of creation to Boccaccio, Dante, and Voltaire, to criticism of Christianity.

A profound, entertaining and celebratory festival finale not to be missed!
