No Weapons in the Restaurant!
With war and crime, social structures break down - the affected population loses safe places of gathering and civil exchange. For exchanges between hostile parties, people depend on common ground to achieve conflict tranquility or even peace. Perhaps in such situations, nothing brings people together as easily as a shared meal that literally requires them to come to the same table.
Cuisine Sans Frontières starts here: Armed only with cooking spoons and culinary know-how, and with a great deal of experience in mediating in the midst of explosive conflicts, between drug cartels and heavily armed tribes of people, recipes for peace are created here.
