As a member of our DAI Circle of Friends, you can secure the first tickets exclusively from now until Monday, July 25. From July 26, the tickets will go on regular pre-sale.
This is how you get your tickets:
Whether online, at our DAI or at all known Reservix advance booking offices: Please have your membership number (in MIT-12345 format, including letters and hyphen) ready for ticket purchase. You will find your membership number on your membership card. In the online store, simply enter your membership number in the “Promotion Code” field to go to the ticket selection screen. At the advance booking offices, the number will be requested as a “promotion code”. You can then select your desired price category and number of tickets. Please note that advance sales are limited to 2 tickets per person and event. Of course you can also buy a ticket for your companion if they are not yet a DAI member. Just choose the (reduced) normal price for the second ticket.

the opening of the International Science Festival – Geist Heidelberg with Nobel Laureate Reinhard Genzel, scheduled for October 14, 2021, starting at 8 pm, unfortunately has to be cancelled at short notice due to illness.
We will make every effort to arrange a make-up date.
From October 05 to December 19, 2021 international and national leaders in science will discuss with you the latest research and the pressing questions of our time.
We are looking forward to Harald Lesch and dem Merlin Ensemble Wien, Katalin Karikó – the woman behind the mRNA vaccine, Eva Illouz, Frans de Waal, Wolf Singer and Hannah Monyer, Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell… and many more!

From Thursday, July 15, until and including Sunday, July 25, the pre-sale for Geist Heidelberg 2021 is open exclusively for members of the DAI Circle of Friends. From Monday, 26 July, all other science enthusiasts can purchase tickets.

The Nobel Laureate and Director of the Francis Crick Institute in London, Sir Paul Nurse, opened the International Science Festival – Geist Heidelberg 2019 at the DAI Heidelberg on Friday, 18 October 2019 at 8 p.m. with his lecture “Science as Revolution”.
Nurse argues that science is the longest lasting revolution and is committed to the principle of this society to base science purely on experiments, observations and well-founded evidence. In his vivid lecture, Nurse took visitors on a journey into the past of science and its global players. The results that Isaac Newton, Darwin, Pasteur or Mendel have brought to science can be regarded as pieces of a large, changeable puzzle, for “All these revolutionary changes have served as a driving force for our civilization, which will continue to benefit from them in the future.
Last but not least: A lecture by Kurt Flasch is concluding the 2018 festival.
