is globally known as a pioneer in mRNA research; her work significantly contributed to the rapid development of mRNA-based vaccines against COVID-19. In 2021, she was awarded the prestigious Paul Ehrlich Prize; in 2023, she received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
