Artificial intelligence vs. artificial stupidity?

It took Facebook or WhatsApp over four years, ChatGPT managed it within two months: 100 million users. This run has subsided. With the personal tests, users experienced sobering results - the fascination gave way to shaking their heads at the unsatisfactory performance in everyday life, many words without meaning. Is this disillusionment fair? Doesn't artificial intelligence (AI) provide incredible services within science? Simulated worlds in cosmology, protein folding in biology, the exploration of the universe and of life - without AI it would be unthinkable.

This panel discusses the potential and risks of AI as well as a sustainable design for our future. Despite all our admiration for AI, people should not belittle themselves. Thinking for ourselves is more important than ever.
