From which sources does the human spirit, which we see growing in the brains of our children, feed? Apparently there are only two approaches: genetic programming and practical experience with the environment.
However, both are far too limited to explain the origin of the enormous complexity in the human brain. The lion's share of this gigantic wealth comes from another source, but one that is ignored by current research on artificial intelligence.
Prof. Christoph von der Malsburg is a physicist and neurobiologist. He is a Fellow of the International Neuronal Network Society, is involved in the scientific supervision of the Human Brain Project and is a Senior Fellow at the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies (FIAS).
In the context of the International Science Festival - Geist Heidelberg.
How is that possible?
