As a philosopher, Richard David Precht pleads for the "richness of the inner world" by acknowledging philosophy as a classical discipline of self- and world-knowledge. But to whom is philosophy addressed with reasonable criticism, good ethics and possible utopia in practice? Can it solve the dilemma that on the one hand we are conditioned to be selfish consumers and on the other hand there is a need for committed agents who examine arguments rationally, act ethically and work for a future of solidarity?
